Christian Service, Eucharist to Nursing Homes

Duties and Responsibilities

·

Bring weekly Eucharist to one of three nursing home / assisted living facilities within parish boundaries.

·

Establish guidelines in creating a sense of presence through listening.

·

Develop awareness by observing the spiritual needs of the person.

·

Follow safe environment procedures for reporting concerns.

2 hours per week

Training

·

Complete initial training program and take part in ongoing formation.

·

Become familiar with safe environment procedures.
