Worship, Eucharistic Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities

·

Attend assigned Masses (assignments made according to volunteer’s availability).

·

Follow steps on checklist provided by the Worship Committee.

·

Before Mass, check number of hosts in ciborium in tabernacle; put out the communion dishes and purificators and the gifts.

·

Assist the priest at Communion as communion dishes and chalices are filled for the Eucharistic Ministers.

·

Help distribute the Eucharist to the Eucharistic Ministers.

·

Place any dishes/chalices left after Communion on back table and return ciborium to the tabernacle.

·

Return all dishes, cups, purificators to the sacristy; clean them and putt them away.

Time Commitment

1 weekend Mass when assigned (arrive 30 minutes early)

Length of Commitment

2 years

Training

·

Member of the Worship Committee provides training.

·

Receive mentoring from experienced person.
